A Collections of poems and the short story Neon written to express concerns, fears and the magical hope for illumination. Neon is a short story that draws the reader into a dystopian world where color has mutated along with hope. Chloe finds herself questioning her life and even her memories in a world where even the walls talk if you're not careful. With the support of Clancy and a mysterious bird baring gifts, this young woman has the strength to illuminate herself and the world around her."Can you hear us?" This poem was written with the intent to clarify the raw emotions and reactions school children living in the U.S. are experiencing. This poem is an anthem to an entire generations disappointment with the society that refuses to protect and treasure it's young.The Vitae poem was written late one night, after quite a bit of thought on how to map out my entire life as a fourteen year old who had no idea what she was going to do in a month, never mind thirty or forty years in the future, which is already an unknown. Vitae, meaning life in Latin, is truly the best and the worst, but mostly the best.
