Waiting for godot. Hailed as a classic of postmodern drama and also as a successful absurd play , Samuel Beckett shows the predicament of hollow human beings on earth. It is also a rare existential gem that moved the hardcore criminals of France and the play is memorable because of its blending of pathos and bleak comedy. The concept of a human being as a solitary individual is shown in this play with all its oddities and vain attempts to survive.
