Beskrivelse

This Spring 2023 issue includes a set of scholarly and mainstream audio book review from the Editor, Anna Faktorovich. The scholarly reviews address topics such as the authenticity of the existence of a person called "William Shakespeare", the quality of new reprint editions such as Fanu's Uncle Silas, and the nature of the Sunnis versus Shia divide. Meanwhile, the reviews of audiobooks question if there is truth to the mainstream arguments presented, such as the authenticity of the evidence puffing "Greats" such as Agatha Christie, Robert Oppenheimer, or one of the seemingly innocent vice presidents at Lehman's Brothers in the buildup to its collapse over the mortgage crisis. Additionally, Ben Hiskes' academic essay addresses destructive chaos in James Thomson's The Seasons. Kaviya Kathiresan and Narasingaram Jayashree's essay is on the efficacy of illustrated tales in addressing climate change to children. There are sets of poems by regular and new writers, including Danny P. Barbare, Louis Gallo, William Heath, Lloyd Jacobs, Rob Luke, Scott Thomas Outlar, Fabrice Poussin, Patrick Theron Erickson, and Terry Trowbridge. And there are three short fiction stories from Rob Armstrong, Geraldine Glodek and Meg Vlaun.
