Beskrivelse
Whether imagining the religion of animals, seeing the world through the eyes of someone with a grass phobia, or sitting quietly with Buzz Aldrin as he takes communion before walking on the moon, this volume of poetry looks at faith and life through its own, sometimes quirky, often profound, lens. Structured around the stages of the Latin mass, these poems meditate on sin, love, belief, death, and life. Rather than providing simplistic and preachy answers, they wonder aloud with lyricism and beauty about the one who resides "not in fire, wind, and quake, but in waves of whisper..." while also taking time to find grace in life as is lived in the here and now.
