Beskrivelse
Communications Policy and the Political Process provides new research about the politics of determining communications policy. Chapters about the FCC, Congress, the executive branch, the Supreme Court, elections, and interest groups offer original research dealing with each of the various arenas in which communications policy is made. The book adds significantly to the published research about the communications policy process. Current issues in communications policy are reviewed and considered in the context of theories of policy making. Contributors to this volume also consider the power of special interest groups and the government in influencing and directing policy outcome.
