Comforting Elizabeth

In the aftermath of the Civil War, women are left to pick up the pieces and move on in the face of devastating loss. Elizabeth Roderick, while not quite a widow, can't manage to move past the memories of the man she lost at Gettysburg. Then Thurston Hollister returns to town, and Elizabeth sees the object of her schoolgirl infatuation for the first time in years. Thurston remembers Elizabeth as one of the students in his classroom. So when he meets her again, a strong, beautiful woman inside and out, he is intrigued. Is it too late for Thurston to win Elizabeth's heart? Or will she finally allow herself to move on from her grief and find comfort and love in his arms?
