Between the ages of fifteen and twenty-one, I possessed the heart of a poet. I wrote poems. About life. About war. About love. About growing up. In the midst of raging hormones and a lust for living, poetry became my way of sorting it all out. This was my age of innocence. Colors of my Within contains 65 of the best poems I wrote during that period.
