Synopsis
The surrealists were inspired by Sigmund Freud's interpretation of dreams and called for lifting the veil of reality and penetrating into the unconscious. These authors wanted to solve the mysteries and mysteries that lay beneath the surface and penetrate deeper into the human mind and the world hidden within. They saw a higher reality in the surreal world that is not suppressed by moral bonds. About the term: "Surrealism" Something is "surreal" to us if it doesn't seem real or impossible to us. The term "surrealism" comes from French and means "above realism". The followers of the movement wanted to create a new reality that was above the previously accepted reality. Here the reader is challenged how he would interpret a painting/drawing by Rene Margritte, Savador Dali and Picasso for himself and interpret.
