More and more people are being diagnosed with alleged cancer everyday. The fear producing statements made by the media and aggressive marketing by the big pharmaceuticals companies will cause many people to live in terrible anxiety on a daily basis. This book may alleviate some of those fears and may even strengthen the reader's thoughts on how to take well informed action that will enable personal responsibility and recovery.
To make matters worse, many people are now being over diagnosed and possibly over treated as we are now evidencing almost daily in the press and the national news. Cancer is devastating news at any time but then to find out that harrowing treatment, painful mutilation and possible malpractice has taken place unnecessarily will be frightening people even more.
It is the ultimate health condition that almost every person dreads...the c word - cancer. There may be many people who would like to know what real self help measures could be used to support the body instead of jumping on the medical cancer conveyor belt of treatment which is almost invariably a method of 'one size fits all'
I wrote this book because my scary diagnosis galvanised me into taking action to thoroughly research everything I could on current cancer treatments and recovery methods. The fear of being branded a 'cancer victim' without reason created initial anger. I turned this negative energy into constructively looking for answers to the many questions I had. Some of these questions still remained unanswered after nearly 12 years by the medical staff at the hospital I was diagnosed which is incredibly disappointing.
Having an almost life long interest in health, self help, biology and quantum physics shows my current interest in research was not simply a reaction to my own personal circumstances but an extension of my naturally inquisitive thought processes surrounding health, well-being and self help.
Cancer does not scare me, but current conventional certainly treatment does.
But who would not be initially scared of cancer? Obviously most people but anyone who is armed with facts and unbiased evidence rather than subjective medical opinions would not be scared. Knowledge enables an objective approach to the diagnosis which may lead to a better outcome.
Who wants to live on a knife edge after treatment? Many people live in daily anxiety if the treatment methods are showing no real proof of consistent long term recovery.
The fear of treatment is very real and in my opinion has never inspired confidence or real hope for many people looking for recovery. It takes a lot of courage to look for other answers and possibly experience being the subject of ridicule by many people who do not understand there are many recovery protocols that do not fit into our current conventional treatment plans or medical beliefs.
