CLAWS OF VENGEANCE is the final volume of THE CLAWS TRILOGY, continuing on from CLAWS OF FURY and CLAWS OF THUNDER. Following a devastating air attack on Katzburgh, in which matriarch Tantamount is killed, Ninelives and his crew discover that the renegade Upriver Mangies have developed new and deadly firearms and explosives. Even worse, demented Upriver tyrant Booma is planning to use these weapons of mass destruction to subjugate both the Katzers and the other Mangy tribes. Can Ninelives and his friends unite Katzers and Mangies - foes since time immemorial - to combat this deadly new threat? With young chieftain Wulfrod leading the Curs, and Ninelives at the head of the Katzers, the scene is set for a bloody climactic battle in which the winner takes all.
