Miriam White, a woman of strength, beauty, and enough sass to fill a ship, is entrusted with managing one of Hector's newly acquired clubs in Dallas, Texas. The club, a den of vice and corruption, needs a firm hand to cleanse it of its scum. As Hector and Miriam work together, they find themselves drawn to each other, their mutual attraction growing into an all-consuming desire.

But when the truth of the demise of Hector's brother, sister-in-law, and their children comes to light, it draws out a vengeful enemy from the past, hell-bent on making Hector pay.
