The Prophet seeks a new weapon to rule in Sanaron; few have the power to stop him.
Back in Sanaron, Kanar struggles with the consequences of his last job. In the wrong hands, the Alainsith blood is a weapon. With Kanar's team, it might offer protection, especially as the Prophet remains active in Sanaron and now dabbles in dangerous witchcraft.
When Kanar learns what the Prophet seeks, he must find it before the Prophet, or he'll use the dangerous power to destroy the city itself.
His team succeeded once before, but that was when focused on the same goal.
When each has their own agenda, can they become a team in time to find the artifact, stop the Prophet, and save Sanaron?
