Beskrivelse
Book Seven, the conclusion of the post-apocalyptic Seer Series, follows a group of people who survive the annihilation of 80% of the world's population caused by a manmade virus. The virus, created to meld plastic and steel into a material called plasteel, escapes the manufacturing plants and creates a new and deadly disease. Michael Macalister, the doctor who headed the government project to find a cure, realized the impossibility of that task, as the virus was heavily armored and impenetrable. Michael was man of great forethought. As civilization collapsed into anarchy, he started a colony along with a few others. The colony grows in size, is both developed and then attacked in Seer, Book One. The following books in the series detail the processes of these colonists and others trying to survive and thrive as life goes backwards and technology all but disappears. The series covers about fifty-five years and three generations of the Macalister family. Book Seven takes Michael's grandson, Ian, into the greatest danger he will ever face as he tries to save the colony and the last remaining bits of technology that have been so crucial to their survival.
