Christmas Calamity: Clean Romance

Even as we walk through hard times, God is with us.

Friendship and romance only worked if it was God's will. Neither Tina nor Eli wanted the trouble if this wasn't God's plan.

The years ago, Mark was all that Tina wanted. Loving. Kind. Funny. Sensitive. Now all she had was her dreams. Tina Jackson, a middle school principal, loved the kids. Mark had wanted a large family, but that dream was gone with him. This year the school had planned an extended Christmas vacation, and Tina was thankful. Between Christmas activities and skiing with the church she was ready to celebrate.

Eli Williams, loved to tell dad jokes to his daughter, Olive, a precocious sixth grader who got the best of her old dad. Being a work from home dad allowed him to be there for his daughter, even when she wished he wasn't.

The only hiccup in his life was his ex-wife, Marjorie. Spoiled and self-absorbed, she was the typical boss' daughter. Sparing little time for Olive or Eli.

Moving to Hartley was the best answer for both Eli and Olive. Excitement about a new house, Christmas, and all the activities made the move easy for both.

A fresh start, and no Marjorie around to upset Olive, clearly was the only change that worked.
