Christians and Education

A proper moral and practical education of its citizens, from child to adult, is absolutely fundamental to the success of all individuals, families, churches, and cultures within any society. Consider the following quote from President George Washington, "The best means of forming a manly, virtuous, and happy people will be found in the right education of youth. Without this foundation, every other means, in my opinion, must fail." What does the Bible say about the educating of our children and society? And what does history reveal to us regarding the consequences of giving this vital responsibility over to the State? The key to fixing our broken world today in America - or anywhere else for that matter - is for Christians to regain control over the education of our children.
