Beskrivelse
As foretold by the prophets of old, a child will be born to an ordinary couple, yet as he grows older they discover he is different from other boys, and also has an extraordinary ability to persuade people towards his own way of thinking, and soon goes on to form a new ministry, preaching a gospel of peace and brotherly love in a time when persecution was rife, and prosecution meant death for those caught in public doing what should not only be done in private, but also in secret.
Jesus Christ continues to preach the word knowing that the time is not right for the law he espouses to come into effect; his death will be as a martyr, thus warranting all of his actions, and not long afterwards men like him can then go about their business, neither ashamed nor afraid.
This is the fourth in a series of parodies based on famous works that have become phenomenally popular and hugely successful, for one reason or another. It incorporates many elements readers of the originals will be familiar with, retaining the standard tropes (in this case, the religious aspects), as well as satirising some of the themes, creating an enjoyable read that harks back to the language of the King James Version.
Watch out for the next volume in this series.
