Beskrivelse
Another melodic masterpiece of word-conducted grounding presence from prolific poet Michael Angel Loayza Jr and his 11th book of compiled poems.
Wildfire
And there the haze swallowed the whole city
And all of its materialistic accolades;
The Earth's skin had become so disgusted with
Humanity that it burnt itself to the ground
In order to save itself -
Though the divine organism of Earth
Seeks nothing but peace and
Innately works with the flow of the Universe
And all of its mysteriousness,
Poignant death to all was its final
Inherent and cyclic instinct -
As the Sun drowned,
The Moon too drowned;
All of the Clouds of Life became filled with soot
And their all-nourishing tears
Soon too dried up -
The crust of the Earth
Attempted to regain its worth
As is eradicated its most pervasive disease -
As the Divine watched from afar,
Helpless of all that once was birthed
Out of the formless dimension of Heaven,
The acceptance of such evoked
Tears from the depths of darkness that then
Found their way to the lifeless soil below
And began birthing new life
Within the decaying ash of humankind;
New life that was intended to work
In harmony with its Creator
And one of its many most vital
Self-staining organs -
There is no spite or vindication
Of this Godless God,
For growth is the only thing that it truly knows;
Life is the only thing that it truly knows -
When burnt into ash,
One must arise anew
Because Life knows no other way;
Its counterpart
Death is one of Life's most vital forces
To the eternal rebirth of the breath and
Its healing wind.
