Long before Jacob Leinenkugel, Edward Rutledge, andWilliam Irvine were associated with Chippewa Falls,Native American people hunted, fished, and gatheredthe abundant food supplies of the Chippewa area. The Chippewa Falls MainStreet program, operating since 1989, has created a grassroots volunteer driven movement to revitalize downtownChippewa Falls. Over the years, the downtown hasundergone renovation projects and investments totalingmore than $57 million.
