This book is part of Mandarin Chinese learning course designed for the beginners and lower-intermediate level (HSK Level 3/4) students of Mandarin Chinese. The book includes numerous lessons for learning selected Chinese Short Stories (中国古代短篇小说选) and Myths (神话故事) from the Chinese history and culture. The lessons include Chinese characters, words, sentences, etc. The book is suitable for self-learning Mandarin Chinese. Plenty of vocabulary with English and Pinyin has been provided throughout the book. Some chapters are purposely too simple, some a bit difficult. However, all chapters are suitable for the Level 3/4 students. Even if you are an advanced level student of Mandarin Chinese, you should give a try to this book and test your Mandarin abilities.
