Beskrivelse
This book is about how children and adolescents learn. Their process of learning is an important area for educators to understand. The book underscores relevant information, theories, and principles with regard to the learner's physical, cognitive, language, social and emotional development. When pre-service teachers are aware of their students' developmental needs, they are able to craft better instructional approaches and materials to maximize their learning.
Our purpose in writing Child and Adolescent Learners and Learning Principles was to give students a concise, easy-to-understand overview of the most important concepts and research findings in the field of child development. Every step of the way, our goal is to provide research comprehensible and relevant topics, with a particular focus on real-world applications. The material is organized chronologically and provides a thorough introduction in just six chapters.
We expect that the text's combination of rich information and succinct presentation will allow instructors to build courses that satisfy both curricular and student demands with flexibility.
