Chiara X is the story of the Protectors, a group of genetically gifted, but sometimes reluctant heroes who are destined to reunite over time to fight evil and injustice. When an escape at a maximum security prison on the moon leads to a series of catastrophic events on earth, Chiara, a determined young woman in her twenties who suspects her tyrannical father's involvement, takes an Oz-like journey to seek the Protectors help. Welcomed in to the group, Chiara's own gifts are soon put the test as she learns the truth behind her evil father's global tyranny. Written with both humor and heart, Chiara X is a blend of fantasy and science fiction that's filled with action, emotional ups and downs, and a storyline that feels completely engaging.
