Chen Family Taijiquan is known as "Supreme" and "Ultimate" because it embodies the paradoxical mysticism of the "Grand Terminus" which is Yin and Yang. Taijiquan conquers the strong by being gentle, improves health by being martial, and accomplishes great feats by being gradual. It retains the masculine and the feminine, the hard and the soft, the young and the old, and the positive and the negative. Taijiquan is "Supreme" because it is for everybody.
