The State Department relocated over a hundred thousand refugees from Syria all over the US with the help of churches, synagogues, and state agencies. Most did well. Fit into the communities like ill-fitting shoes, but they eventually made it work. A few couldn't transition-mean, and angry as hell at the world.

Amanda Sherman, Homeland Security Director needs to prove to congress the need to create specialized teams that deliberately search out terrorist on US soil before they are ready to strike-preemptively. Congress has denied her request. Now she must operate covertly.



After receiving an alarming piece of intelligence about a group of refugees amassing in West Virginia, Amanda calls on Harley Bodine and his team to lead a mission of reconnaissance. The mission quickly devolves into chaos. Now he must find anthills and kill the queen. If he fails, it's career suicide for everyone.
