Welcome to Devil Springs-where no one is completely human, and nothing is what it seems.

My trip to Devil Springs was to surprise my best friend.

Instead, an emergency pit stop a few miles from town becomes a run for my life. I see is a gigantic wolf in the woods change into a man. A naked man who chases me to my car.

After I escaped, I thought I must be hallucinating until I saw him again...in his capacity as police chief of Devil Springs. A local family is causing trouble and I've landed smack in the middle of it.

Now, I'm stuck in Devil Springs for the time being and the hot police chief insists I'm his mate. This town and this man are like my dreams come to life, but I can't give in.

My past has taught me that anything good in my life will be ripped away.

And losing this dream would break me permanently.
