This work contains 29 maps drawn between 1875-1894 by leading scientists of the Prussian army, led by Johann Kaoupert and commissioned by the German Archaeological Institute. In its present form the work consists of 28 maps of scale 50 by 58cm, 1 large single map 81 by 103cm and a book of 120 pages with introductory texts, translations and commentary by Professor Manolis Korres of the National Technical University of Athens.
