Charming the Dragon

Macy is in big trouble. Once every hundred years, a virgin must be sacrificed to the fearsome dragon who lives on the mountaintop overlooking the village, and the oracle has chosen Macy.

 

The fate of her people rests on her shoulders, but legend has it that no virgin has ever emerged from the mountaintop once being given to the dragon. That's why they're called sacrifices.

 

Macy doesn't want to condemn her people, but she refuses to take all this lying down. Fearsome dragon? Bring it on. She's determined to find a way to charm this dragon while saving her village—and herself—in the process.
