The book reports an empirical study of a relationship between maternal employment and personality development of children of employed and unemployed mothers. It also examines the similarities and differences in the disciplinary practices used by the employed mothers and full-time housewives. The personality patterns of children are discussed in the light of micro as well as macro variables.
