Denis O'Leary is a retired teacher and award winning author. This bilingual children's story and quiz introduces the life of César Chávez. As a teacher in the Central Valley of California, Denis and fellow teachers were told that if they
attended the funeral of César Chávez, that they would be fired. Denis attended the historic funeral with two fellow educators. They were not fired. Other teachers asked Mr. O'Leary to write about the event so they could share with other students. César Chávez's Last March is that story.
