Anforth the raccoon didnt mean to do battle with the pirate wolves of the mainland, but then, he didnt mean to sink his uncles boat in the cove on Cedar Island, either, or discover what he discovered there.Generations ago the humans did something to raise the intelligence of many animal species, and then they went away, somewhere, leaving almost nothing behind. A drowned city. A hidden treasure...None of the animals knows what it was that the humans did, or where it was the humans went. They only know its a pretty peaceful world, at least in the Inner Islands where Anforth and his friends Flutesam the otter and Crow the crow make their homes.A wolf named Grey wants to change all that.
