Lia and Gillian are going to the most notorious Samhain party in the Great Lakes area.

The Chicago Vampire Clan has invited them to attend and consider joining their happy family. Except the family isn't that happy, and they have ulterior motives for asking someone who can kill a vampire to show up. Worse, all the shifters in the city are on the verge of war, and they discover what Gillian's brother, Gregor, who was the clan's wizard, was really doing before Lia killed him.
