When Norfolk police officer Anna McArthur escapes the most boring date ever experienced, she isn't quite prepared for the grim kind of excitement that will soon follow.



Walking past a moonlit chapel in King's Lynn's centre, something catches her eye. It is the body of a woman slumped against the medieval building, clearly murdered.



The victim had "Catfish" carved into her chest, suggesting some sort of motive, yet there are few other clues as to her identity.



It's going to be a challenging case, not least because Anna has a reputation amongst her colleagues as "Crazy McArthur", someone who acts first and thinks later.



Anna jumps at the opportunity to prove her worth, and her gutsy actions will get her noticed, perhaps even by her dreamboat boss DCI Aaron Burns.
