Castles in Japan

This beautiful full-color collection features 130 castles from all over Japan, including the ones listed in the "Top 100 Castles in Japan" selected by the Japan Castle Foundation in 2006 for being culturally, historically, or regionally important. Starting with the castles belonged to Japan's feudal government, the book introduces residence and subsidiary castles based on the heraldry of feudal lord released in 1850's. It evokes a sense of historical romances throughout the book. There are also some other remaining castles and historic sites nationwide that we might never know about.

What is more, the book also contains the list of revised version of Top 100 which was released in 2017. It is an appealing collection for castle lovers with basic description and English translation provided.
