Case study has been proved as a successful pedagogical, research, and problem solving technique, which is used by both academics and practitioners in Islamic finance alike. This booklet adopts a triangulated approach to coin the idea of case thinking as unified philosophy of approaching teaching, research, and consulting as three outcomes. The booklet discusses the reasons for using the case thinking and differentiate a case, case study, and case practice as three cognitive levels of the case thinking occurs at the cognitive ladder of a case thinker. The booklet also uses, the authors' previous case studies and reflections from their use in the teaching, research, and consulting that the authors have delivered at various Banks and Universities in the US, UK, Turkiye, Malaysia, and Pakistan.
