This work analyzes the Time-Domain Process Simulator (TDPS) program created to simulate control strategies in industrial processes, in view of the growing use of simulators in this area, due to the possibility of greater interaction with the user, practicality and even cost reduction. To carry out the evaluation, the simulation of an industrial boiler was studied, taking into account the great importance that boilers currently have in various industrial processes and in the generation of electricity; in order to verify the applicability, reliability and functionality of the tools that the program has available for control simulation. As a result, it was concluded that the simulator responded as expected and could even be used for teaching purposes.
