It is AD 47 and the Roman Empire occupies the south-east of Britannia. Caradoc is now king, but a king of exiles - king of the free.
In the west Caradoc and his warriors try to hold back the Roman legions. If they win then their homelands could be freed. If they lose thousands will die - still more will be enslaved.
Caradoc is warrior, druid, master of spies and respected, even by his Roman enemies - but can he protect the people he loves?
