Beskrivelse
Each year Dave Curran travels alone by canoe into the Maine wilderness. He's paddled the Seboeis, the Allagash and the Moose. Despite the foolhardiness of such an adventure, he prefers to go alone. It's easier to plan, and going alone he's more focused, less distracted. He goes for the challenge, battling weather, bears, black flies, mosquitoes, getting lost. He goes for the scenery, the wildness, the silence, the peace. Curran works as a clinical psychologist and lives with his wife and two children in Berlin, Massachusetts. He is also the author of Hellgate Press's Canoe Trip: North to Athabasca.
