Candy Girl Chronicles

Candy Girl Chronicles is a compilation of stories from Candy Girls celebrating our admiration for R&B legends New Edition. Candy Girl Chronicles was born out of a celebration during the first run of the New Edition Las Vegas Residency from February 28 through March 9, 2024. Candy Girls came together to celebrate on February 29, 2024, and shared their stories of the love they have had for New Edition since 1983. The excitement of listening to the stories was a joy, and thus, Candy Girl Chronicles was born as Angela L. Dixon, Esq., decided the stories needed to be heard so the members of New Edition, as well as other fans, could understand exactly what this group means to so many.

Candy Girl Chronicles are personal accounts from fun, lively, unique, heartfelt, funny, sweet, and special memories and interactions with members of New Edition. Special memories range from meeting the group and going to their concerts to personal experiences of how their music has impacted the lives of these Candy Girls. There are 41 stories representing the 41 years since Candy Girl debuted to the world.
