Theme from The Infernal Galop (in an easy range) from Act II, Scene 2 from Jacques Offenbachs opera, Orpheus in the Underworld (Orphee aux enfers) is known as the 'Can-can'. This a real show stopper whenever performed. It's a high-energy and physically demanding music hall dance that first appeared in the working-class ballrooms of Montparnasse in Paris around 1830.
