A year ago, Angel's sidekick, er, partner, almost died in the line of duty. Jake. Angel has flown solo ever since. In a lot of ways. But when a new villain proves more than Angel can handle, he's forced to reconsider his solo career. Flying across town on a levitated skateboard and reading the mind of everyone in a five mile radius may sound like fun and games, but when your boyfriend's mother thinks you're a "disgusting vigilate aberration" and villains blow up minimarts to get your attention, the superhero biz can get a bit stressful. Battling powerful psychic bad guys and evil, vengeful ghosts, Angel has a snarky attitude and great hair to go along with it. What more could you want from a gay superhero? Hot sidekicks? Done.
