California Boy

California Boy is a collection of funny stories about growing up in California during the 40s and 50s. They relate the adventures, odd happenings and unusual events of a youngster in a squirrely and transient family. We moved from town to town and school to school, fourteen in all. I was suspended from grammar school because of the Holy Ghost, sank in a canoe in the middle of Newport Beach bay and went on a clamming safari along the West Coast coast with a young family. These and other humorous and upbeat vignettes describe how life was at that time.
