Cailini

Maggie was a force of nature. The year was 1954 and as she grew up on the crumbling streets of Pueblo, Colorado, she watched the Cailini girls dominate the neighborhood. She dreamed about the day she might take her place as one of them. But when she has to fight for what she believes in, while she watches the people she loves slip through her fingers, she is forced to decide just what kind of girl she is. The Cailini is a three book series about a 15 year old girl trying to find her way in a world that only wants to keep her in her place. In this West Side Story meets Mad Men type saga, Maggie and her family deal with the drama that so often surrounds children living on the edge of society.
