Button Up Romper Knitting Pattern

This pattern will help you make a cute newborn romper with button accents. The pattern comes in newborn size only. It is meant to fit the baby for the first two weeks. It makes a great coming home from the hospital outfit, and it also is the size that is preferred by newborn photographers. You will need: Bulky yarn, knitting needles to obtain the gauge (this pattern's gauge is 14 sts in 10cm/4in in stockinette stitch), darning needle to weave in the yarn ends, sewing needle and matching thread, and six buttons. The upper half of the onesie is knit flat, the middle part is knit in the round and the bottom half is knit flat again.
