Beskrivelse
The aim of this book is to understand how companies have adapted to the Covid-19 health crisis. The analysis focuses on the adjustments made to the business model in order to overcome this crisis. The results conclude that innovation and agility played a key role, notably through the acquisition of digital skills and resources. Secondly, the importance of collaborating with partners to mitigate resource shortfalls, as well as a preference for local suppliers to minimize exposure to disruptions in global supply chains, were highlighted. In addition, internal reorganization, including telecommuting, economic unemployment, team reorganization, improved inventory management and enhanced security measures was also required. Finally, the value proposition was adapted to meet new consumer needs. Recommendations are finally proposed to help companies adapt their business models to cope with future disruptions.
