Beskrivelse
The health and well-being of the higher education student are crucial prerequisites for academic success and the future of the professional. Studying in higher education is demanding, as the student must face several stressful situations during the course, which can lead to an emotional overload and, consequently, interfere negatively in the quality of life and mental and physical health, including causing the Burnout Syndrome (SB). This work has the merit of being the pioneer in the reflection about SB in Mozambican students, because it constitutes an opportunity for learning about SB in the academic environment. Therefore, this book emphasizes the design and implementation of preventive and health promotion measures that can be adopted in the academic context in order to provide psychosocial assistance and train or train students in mental health so that they can effectively deal with the stresses of academic life.
