Burkina Faso and climate change

Burkina Faso, located in the heart of the Sahel, is no exception to the rule. Indeed, from the 1970s to the present day, the country has been confronted with numerous natural disasters, the reasons for which are mainly due to climate change. It is a fragile and vulnerable country in the face of climate change. It has made many efforts to combat this phenomenon, the effects of which threaten its economy and sustainable development. While it is true that the impacts of climate disturbances are perceived by the people of Burkina Faso, we note that their causes are not always well known and understood. This is the purpose of this book, which is addressed to political decision-makers, teacher-researchers and rural development actors in Burkina Faso.
