Emma's psychic reading for the magical mafia is going...okaaay. Until an enemy crashes through her window with a deal she can't refuse.

Her dad is trapped in the fae realm. They'll return him if she solves a murder. Easy peasy. She's unraveled plenty of mysteries in the past year.



But this murder hasn't happened yet. And the killer isn't done. The only way to stop them is to go undercover at the Emerald City Renaissance Faire, where not everyone is human, but everything is for sale.



The faire isn't all fire-breathers, jesters, and jousters. It's a hub of black-market magic. Even as Emma closes in on the killer, a cult goes to war with the mob for control and a mastermind prepares their coup de grâce.
