Built on the Ruins

In the last years of the 20th century, Jason Gorham, a disillusioned activist, has turned away from politics. Struggling with old habits and attitudes, and both helped and hindered by his friends, he tries to remake his life. The story unfolds in a series of short chapters that present a mosaic of the bohemian demi monde of St. Croix, a fictional midwestern city.
