With years of experience in teaching English at the middle school, high school, college, and adult level, Lili Kim has put together a collection of team building exercises, journal entries, and classroom tips to build rapport with students and engage them in meaningful lessons.
Such activities include: Team Building: Encouraging students to form genuine relationships with each other by participating in laughter yoga, asking open-ended questions, and sharing through diversity beads Assessments: Partaking in assessments that evaluate students' love language, strengths and personalities Being an Advocate: Contributing to the community by participating in walks for a cause, initiating a benefit concert and raising awareness on social issues Passives: Freely sharing students' stances on various subjects through the One Word Project and Wall of Advice Journal Entries: Connecting with others through creating a Last Lecture, Draw My Life piece, and by fearlessly seeking out rejection
