Go into depth with the accompanying Bug Club text and ask questions that will challenge and grow a children's comprehension skills. Using the worksheet and the description on pages 42-45, children draw a picture of the underwater mine with detailed labels and captions. Challenge them to choose precise, ambitious, varied and rich vocabulary. Follow-up: children make a poster to encourage people to care for creatures in their environments.
