Go into depth with the accompanying Bug Club text and ask questions that will challenge and grow a children's comprehension skills. Share the worksheet with the group and invite children to draw pictures of zoo animals in some squares on the grid. Ask them to write instructions to get from the gate to the animals, for example: Go five squares North and two squares West. Using the completed worksheets, children read their instructions aloud clearly so the group can follow them and locate the animals.
